Muslim Women Power List

As if to coincide perfectly with the launch of our new female outreach team, the list of Britain's 24 most powerful Muslim women was released today.

The Muslim Women Power List - unveiled at a ceremony in Manchester last night - was chosen by a panel of judges led by Trevor Phillips, chairman of the Equality and Human Rights Commission. The judges were asked to select women who had demonstrated significant results through strong leadership, successful performance in their chosen career, and had inspired their colleagues and peers.

These women should be an inspiration to the females, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, who are thinking of attending ACF's Saturday afternoon sessions at our centre on Lea Bridge road.
